Create a new-style cover of your song in EasyMusic
Create a cover in EasyMusic: select a completed vocal song, enter the new style, review its lyrics and title, then compare the resulting arrangement with the original.
Follow this guide in the studio ↗Choose Cover when a song’s central idea works but you want a different musical setting. EasyMusic uses the source as a reference for a new interpretation rather than overwriting the original.
Open the tool for your song
In EasyMusic, open a completed song’s … → Cover Song menu. From the Library, this action hands the selected song to the music generator and opens its operation dialog. Check the source title and play it before changing anything; related versions can look very similar.
Check the source before generating
Cover requires a completed, eligible vocal song. A source marked as instrumental is not supported by this operation, and some partial results cannot open it. For an instrumental that needs singing, use the separate vocal-adding workflow instead. You can upload a recording you are entitled to use, wait for processing, and then check its available actions.
This is a paid operation, currently 20 credits per submission. Check the displayed balance and cost. Cover is a musical reinterpretation, not a way to select a specific person’s verified voice; the resulting singer and performance details may change.
Fill in a direction that can be heard
Enter a title, style, and lyrics. All three are required for a vocal cover. Limits are 80 characters for the title, 1,000 for style and 5,000 for lyrics. Review inherited words rather than assuming they match the recording. For an uploaded source without lyrics in the field, supply the words you want sung.
Describe the lead instrument, groove, energy and vocal delivery. A concise arrangement such as acoustic guitar, brushed percussion and an intimate vocal is easier to assess than a list of incompatible genres. Keep the original lyrics for a more faithful interpretation; edit them deliberately when a changed text is part of the goal.
Compare the new interpretation
Submit once and wait for the new results in your song history. The original remains available. The interface describes the cover as creating two versions; listen to the actual completed results before choosing one. Compare the melody’s recognizable shape, section order, pronunciation and the new arrangement, without assuming any of them will be reproduced exactly.
If the musical identity has drifted too far, simplify the style request and try again from the preferred source. A request for softer drums or a stronger last chorus may be better expressed through Smart refine. To replace one timed lyric passage, use section editing. Neither downloading nor changing style grants additional rights to somebody else’s composition or recording.
Try a focused version
For a night-drive demo, try this direction: “warm guitar, a steady soft beat and an intimate vocal.” Keep the source lyrics for the first comparison, then judge the opening, first chorus and ending at a similar listening level. Record what improved and what was lost. Make a second version with one deliberate change rather than changing the lyrics, tempo and instrumentation together.
