Extend a song and assemble the full track

Continue a song in EasyMusic when its strongest opening needs another verse, a better last chorus or a more deliberate ending. Extend keeps the material before your chosen boundary and uses the following instructions to create the continuation. Save the source so you can compare versions.

Set the boundary by listening

In EasyMusic, open a completed song’s … → Extend menu. From the Library, this action hands the selected song to the music generator and opens its operation dialog. Check the source title and play it before changing anything; related versions can look very similar.

The operation opens a dialog with an audio timeline. Move the continuation boundary and preview the source, paying attention to the regions that will be kept and recreated. Choose a complete musical phrase rather than the last available second. A point before an unwanted ending lets you develop a different ending without asking for a wholly unrelated song.

When timed lyric data is unavailable, use the manual time control offered by the panel and check the position against playback. A visible audio waveform does not itself mean that synchronized lyrics exist. Check that the selected source and its duration are correct before proceeding.

Review what follows the boundary

When aligned lyrics exist, moving the boundary initially fills the continuation field with lyrics after that point. Once you edit those words, moving the boundary preserves your manual draft. Use the panel’s reset-to-source-lyrics action when you want to restore the automatic text, then check it again. Without usable timing, write the continuation manually.

Include only what should be sung after the boundary. Describe a bridge, final chorus or outro, and keep the style consistent unless a transition is deliberate. For a night-drive demo, try “warm guitar, a steady soft beat and an intimate vocal” and explain how the ending should settle. The suggested preservation of vocal style is a creative direction, not a guarantee of an identical performance. Inspect the completed song

Extension requires eligible paid access and sufficient balance. Review the displayed charge for the chosen options and submit once. The current flow can assemble the continuation automatically into a complete song. Listen to that completed result before looking for a separate joining action.

Some older or partial extension results still expose Get Full Song. Use it only when the selected partial result offers it; it creates an assembled version rather than overwriting the source. Keep the original, continuation and final version until the structure is settled.

Compare the join and the ending

Listen before, across and after the boundary. Check repeated words, cut-off syllables, rhythm, vocal space and sudden changes of loudness. If the join is awkward, move the boundary to another complete phrase before rewriting all the instructions. If only an existing lyric passage needs correction, use timed lyric editing.
